Old Black Magic: A Halloween Jazz Night with Andy Brown Trio

Step into the dark side of autumn for an evening of spooky jazz standards, haunted melodies, and songs with a touch of mystery and magic. Featuring Ghost of a Chance, Haunted Heart, Witchcraft, Old Devil Moon, Autumn Leaves, Autumn in New York, and other great standards, performed by the Andy Brown Trio. Andy Brown is one of Chicago’s busiest and most respected jazz guitarists, known for his deep connection to the tradition of “old-school” jazz guitar. He has performed and recorded with many of the leading jazz musicians of his generation, including Howard Alden, Scott Hamilton, Ken Peplowski, Harry Allen, and Warren Vaché. He has also released several acclaimed recordings, including Good Atmosphere and Soloist, and has performed at festivals and venues throughout the U.S. and internationally.
