Oktoberfest at the Garden is a family-friendly celebration of the final weekend of Shimmering Summer, featuring traditional German fare, Oktoberfest beers, family-friendly activities and live music. Attendees can also explore the art installation, Evanescent, by Australian based artists Atelier Sisu, which emulates the ethereal quality and magic of bubbles. A variety of food and drink will be available for purchase such as Bavarian pretzels, Steckerlfisch, Kielbasa with spaetzle, potato pancakes and Oktoberfest beers. Family-friendly activities at Festival Field include lawn games, leaf rubbing, and wind wand making. The live music schedule includes polka music from The Bratwurst Brothers, acoustic pop-rock hits from Jim & Justin of Modern Day Romeos, traditional polka music from Die Kellerknaben, and acoustic musician Josh Skaja. Oktoberfest at the Garden is included with general admission to the Garden.
