Ladd Memorial Arboretum & Evanston Ecology Center

Stretching along a three-quarter mile segment of McCormick Boulevard on a narrow, 23 acre strip of reclaimed land following the diagonal course of the North Shore Channel, the arboretum is an area of natural beauty and recreation open year-round. The Ecology Center serves as the education nucleus of the arboretum presenting many programs throughout the year such as an Easter egg hunt, community plays, and musical performances.
