Walk through women's history in downtown Skokie. Learn about important women and pivotal moments in the struggle for equal rights, including Skokie's first resident doctor and the development of the first commercial contraceptive. Drop-ins welcome. Children under 10 free with paid adult. Meet at Skokie Heritage Museum. Walk is about 1.6 miles with public benches available at some, but not all, stops. Walks take place outside in light rain. In the event of more severe weather, walks will either move to an in-door equivalent at the Skokie Heritage Museum or be rescheduled. Bring a friend! Drop-ins welcome.
