While using hip hop as a base, Aubry experiments with sounds of Neo-Soul, R&B, and more to curate an alternative sound, that also connects to a background of spoken word. While as a solo artist and one half of Chicago based rap duo “Stranded Civilians”, WhoIsAubry uses life to dictate his writing process, often leaning on introspection to create sounds that can be enjoyable and relatable to anybody willing to listen.
