Walking Tour: Prairie School North Evanston

This architectural tour highlights the Prairie School (late 19th to early 20th century) in North Evanston. Beginning in Quinlan Park across from Dwight Perkins’ own home and Robert Spencer’s “doll houses,” the tour also includes examples of Frank Lloyd Wright and Evanston native son Thomas Tallmadge. View their avant-garde designs and learn about their relationship to Evanston. Led by Kris Hartzell. The meeting point is Quinlan Park (intersection of Lincoln Street, Elm Street and Pioneer.)
