The Soul Avengers: Tribute to Classic Soul

The Soul Avengers return to SPACE after their last show here, a tribute to Al Green, in the hazy pre-pandemic past. A group of veteran Chicago musicians who’ve played with each other in various configurations for twenty years or more, they play soul from Memphis to Detroit, from New Orleans to LA. Steve Dawson, Alton Smith, and Bill Brickey front a band including Evanston’s own Chris Greene.
