Northbrook Symphony Orchestra: Sumptuous Strings

Artistic Creative Partner Robert Chen invites his Chicago Symphony Orchestra colleague Gina DiBello to open our season with a J.S. Bach classic, before the Northbrook Symphony plays two beloved works for string orchestra by Edvard Grieg and Antonín Dvořák. Johann Sebastian Bach: Two-Violin Concerto in D minor, BWV 1043 Edvard Grieg: Holberg Suite, Op. 40 Antonín Dvořák: Serenade for Strings in E major, Op. 22. Robert Chen, violin & conductor Gina DiBello, violin Northbrook Symphony. This concert starts at 4:00pm and will be approximately 1 hour 35 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission. Admission Fee $45 - $75 plus $3 per ticket - under 18 free.
