Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center will reopen on November 11, Veterans Day after being closed for renovations since June 2025. The renovation expanded visitor spaces, enhanced the core Holocaust exhibition, and created new opportunities for learning, reflection and public programming.

In honor of Veterans Day, all active duty and retired military (and family members up to four people) are welcome to attend for FREE. (Valid military ID is required.) Discount can only be applied in person. For directions and parking information please visit their website or call 847-967-4800.
