Evanston Flying Turkey 5k Run

The Evanston Flying Turkey 5k presented by Endeavor Health returns for 2026 on Thanksgiving morning! Gather your family and join us in Evanston for a festive 5k run or walk to start the holiday on a healthy note. Registration for 2026 is limited to 3,300 participants. Each registrant will receive a Flying Turkey 5k winter hat. We will also be collecting canned goods on-site for the Evanston Vineyard Food Pantry, as well as other donations for local charities during this season of giving. The route will primarily follow Sheridan, Lincoln, and Orrington Roads.
