This only all-vintage flea market around bursts with 75 vendors of all things classic and kooky. Find treasures from the 1880's through the 1990's in home decor, vintage clothing, vinyl, antiques, collectibles and so much more.

For the sixth year in a row, Downtown Evanston is hosting a Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest to bring color and design to city walkways with a friendly, artsy competition between businesses, artists and families. Part of the annual Sidewalk Sale, independent shops and national retailers will set up racks and tables with too-good-to-resist deals. Many area businesses will extend sales inside their stores, too. Be sure to check out the artists in action creating their colorful, yet temporary masterpieces.

Throughout the summer, this monthly, fun-filled evening features a variety of artists, makers and retail shops with music by DJ Johnny Price and craft beer from Smylie Brothers Brewing Co. Visit Downtown Evanston on the first Thursday of each month when every market has a unique theme to bring in a variety of businesses and showcase local entertainment. Fountain Square is always bubbling with energy, color and fun in this community hot spot.
