On Sunday, June 29th, the Wilmette Historical Society will host its 2025 Historic Housewalk, “Timeless Wilmette: Four Homes, Four Styles, Countless Stories.” The Society’s Housewalk has
been on pause since 2020 but is returning this year with homes that are sure to fascinate and inspire people of all ages. Housewalk highlights include original features such as fireplace
mantels and staircases, renovated kitchens for today’s families, refreshed outdoor spaces, and inspiring examples of how historic homes can be the perfect blend of old and new.
Join us in exploring four Wilmette houses and learn more about their history, past residents, and the architecture and design of these spaces. Guides will be available at each home to provide
tours and highlight the specific architecture and history of each home. An informative brochure detailing the architecture, history, and early owners of the home will be included in the ticket
price. The Housewalk is an exciting event for enthusiasts of old houses, history buffs, and those who are simply curious and would enjoy a fun afternoon stroll.
