Sydny August is a singer-songwriter hailing from Chicago’s north side. She meets R&B with an authentic, no limit approach. August emerged independently onto Chicago’s underground music scene in 2016 gaining recognition across local blogs, venues, and radio stations. Throughout 2017 to 2020, August released five EPs while maintaining Creative Writing & Business studies at the University of Kansas. She released her independent debut album "Miss August" during 2020's quarantine before signing to Lil Durk’s Only The Family, Chicago's #1 label. Her 2021 single “How Does It Feel” was her first single as a signed artist and has amassed over 2 million streams. Her following projects, released independently, convey relatable emotions with themes surrounding heartbreak, nostalgia, love & empowerment. August remains consistent and truly the one to watch
