Downtown Evanston - Sunday Jazz at the Square

Come for a relaxing lunchtime at Sunday Jazz at the Square, a weekly live music series showcasing the next generation of local jazz talent. The jazz music will run every Sunday, 11:30AM to 1:30PM through July 27. Each week, The Senya Rogers-Kaufman Quartet, a dynamic young ensemble, will perform an assortment of jazz tunes. In addition to the core quartet, each week will feature guest appearances by members of the ETHS Jazz Band and musicians from The Butcher Boy School of Music in Evanston, adding even more local flavor to the mix. Bring your own seating! The event is free and open to the public, with music lovers of all ages encouraged to bring a chair, grab lunch, ice cream or coffee from a nearby eatery, and enjoy top-tier jazz in a relaxed, outdoor setting. While admission is free, tips are appreciated to help support these talented young musicians. The dates are: June 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th.  July 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th.
