Winnetka

Incorporated in 1869 and named "one of the best places to live" by CNN in 2009, Winnetka is an affluent village approximately 20 miles north of Chicago. Its small-town spirit, charm and traditions make it one of the most delightful villages along Lake Michigan's North Shore. With tree-lined streets, sandy beaches, outstanding parks, quality recreational facilities as well as four business districts, Winnetkais truly a "beautiful land," as its name suggests. Its striking landscape has been home to many feature films including Home Alone, The Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Located approximately 20 miles north of downtown Chicago, Winnetka is easily accessible off I-94 (Edens Expressway), by Metra commuter rail as well as the CTA Purple Line with a connection with Pace Suburban Bus service.
