Animation, Imagination and Education

Family conflict, violence, racial discrimination, sexual harassment and antisemitism are among the serious issues embedded throughout our favorite animated films. Back by popular demand, pianist Dr. Marvin Berman brings soundtracks to life with his keyboard artistry, and reveals the hidden truths found in our favorite animated gems. There will be examples such as the sexism of Mulan, the isolation of The Hunchback of Notre Dame and the struggle for power in The Lion King, and many, many more. This not-to-be-missed evening is intended for the young at heart. Reservations required.
