Winnetka's 4th of July Fun

Hit the ground running this July Fourth weekend with Winnetka’s Freedom Run. Sat., July 1 at 8am. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors out to join in on the fun for this 5k race along the Green Bay Trail. The festivities continue on Tues., 7/4 at 10am with a Fourth of July Parade running from the corner of Elm St. and Glendale Ave. ending at Village Green Park. After the parade, head to Village Green Park for the traditional flag-raising ceremony, a children’s flag parade, and historic family foot races! Finish it all off with Fourthfest, 5:30-8:30pm (Skokie Playfield) for fun family activities before the fireworks begin! Enjoy live music by the Blooze Brothers, food trucks and, of course, fireworks!
