North Shore Restaurant Month: 5 Ideas for a Night Out

North Shore Restaurant Month is in full swing, with restaurants around the area offering a variety of delicious dining deals. But why not pair your meal with a show, event, or exhibit for a complete night out? Whether you’re planning date night, girls’ night out, or even a family outing, here are five ideas for a full day of fun this February.

Dine:
Guanajuato
73 Green Bay Road, Glencoe
Enjoy:
Chicago Botanic Garden’s Orchid Show
1000 Lake Cook Road, Glencoe

Make your way to Chicago Botanic Garden for this year’s Orchid Show, Asia in Bloom, starting Feb. 10. More than 10,000 orchids will be on display during this favorite annual event, a perfect winter escape if you can’t actually escape. Then, “travel” to Mexico with delicious fare at Guanajuato. Whether you choose fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, quesadillas, or burritos, be sure to take advantage of the restaurant’s deal for the month: free dessert with entree purchase. (We recommend the Tres Leches Cake, filled with berries, or the Churros con Nieve.)
